Maya Fun

After looking again at the fence in the scenes I decided to model in the bars of the fence as they did just look too flat, and with everything else looking right I decided to change it.
The outcome is a lot better

Question is why am I still being so picky at this stage, I don’t really know but there’s something inside me that won’t let me settle for mediocrity, good in some respects but I don’t think everyone appreciates it.

I also got the camera model from Matt to scribble on the textures, after talking with nick yesterday I also smoothed/rounded the edges off a little to make the outline less harsh.

I was also keen to do some tests with the model so I began to move it around and I started to notice things that defiantly had not happened before.

Like this flap of skin above the shoulder

and this strange cavity in the shoulder

And well… the model defiantly didn’t do this before.

.......................Why?...

I’m meeting up with Nick tomorrow to sort everything out, Matt fixed the cavity and I got rid of that flap of skin on his shoulder but there are still some other issues that we have to resolve before we can start animating.

Back in Newport

I came back from Leeds today so we could have a meeting and work on the model together.
We really need to get the model done soon or we may end up in trouble.
